The office of the director of directorate of criminal investigation which is under the leadership of president Uhuru Kenyatta have today made a big announcement following Kenya power lighting and company which caused a countrywide blackout few weeks ago.
According to the source, directorate of criminal investigation have reviewed the submission of nine Kenya power lighting and company officers who were charged and held in custody. DCI have confirmed that out of nine officers, three of them were arrested and six were released without bail.
"The DPP independently reviewed the submitted file of the 9 KPLC officers and found sufficient evidence to charge 3 of the officers out of the 9 officers held in custody. Therefore, the 6 KPLC officers were released as no charges were preferred against them," tweeted Office of the Director of DCI.
