Police officer steals Sh1.2 million from a school principal in Kibera, Nairobi County.

The officer was controlling crowd when the incident happened.

Through his lawyer Mr Aswan, Tiger explained before the court that the cop stole his Sh1.2 million that was in custody.

The lawyer asked the court to summon the cop in the case to explain how the money disappeared.

The magistrate ordered that the cop to show up in court as asked by the defence when the case will be heard.

The magistrate freed accused on Sh1 million bond with an alternative of the same amount.

The suspect was ordered to make an make a report to the trial court if he intends to be freed on cash bail.

This comes barely few days after a man from Kibera, Nairobi, was Tuesday charged before the court for mobilizing bodaboda riders to assault a police officer.

Police constable John Mutegi and his team had responded to a distress call when the incident was reported.
