Kuresoi south residents are counting losses after a night inferno razed down business premises in Kiptagich town . The night fire is believed to have been caused by unattended jiko in one of the houses .
Trials by the business owners to salvage the situation proved futile as most of the buildings are made of timber hence the faster spread of fire .
The area is continuously loosing lives and properties to fire due to lack of a fire truck nearby . The county government of Nakuru has been reluctant in stationing a truck nearby. Residents have been asking for the same but little has been done .
Few days ago a young man was burnt to death in an inferno in Keringet town a few kilometers from the yesterday's incident .
The valuation of the goods burnt is yet to be made , fortunately no live was lost . The locals have since called on leaders not to politicize the matter but instead visit them with lasting solutions and not cameras .
