Yesterday night, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) raided a thug's hideout in Nairobi recovering several weapons.
According to sources, police officers raided a house in Dagoretti where they managed to arrest a notorious city thug before recovering a home made gun and an explosive.
It has emerged that these officers acted on a tip off from members of the public before the interesting raid.
Also recovered was a machete and several electronic devices that are believed to be from unsuspecting kenyans.
This raid comes at the back drop of so many robberies in the country with a number of kenyans losing their lives during these incidents.
Detectives have however been working round the clock to ensure that kenyans get adequate security across the country.
Kenyans have been urged to expose all these rogue thugs in the society to help clean the streets.
Thugs have also been told to return back all weapons before hell breaks loose.
