A mother of two children who were murdered by their father took it to the internet and mourned her loved ones days before their burial ceremony.
Reports had earlier indicated that on Saturday Dr. James Gakura who is based at Nakuru allegedly injected insulin into his two children and killed them in cold blood before attempting suicide.
The two bodies were taken to the morgue for postmortem while the doctor who was found lying unconsciously on his bed was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he is currently admitted receiving treatment.
Sources revealed that the doctor had decided to act unexpectedly after having family issues with his wife who was planning to go for further studies abroad. Investigation towards the whole incident is ongoing.
The mother shared her painful feelings and expressed how her heart is shattered after failing to protect them, little did she knew that the person they trusted would cut short their life. She also promised to fight for justice. May their souls rest in peace.
A section of citizens rebuked her for not acting motherly and protecting her babies after realizing that they were not in good condition with her spouse. Instead, if she could have gone home with her babies they could be alive.
The lesson learned from the incident is that all parents should protect children and not drag them into their issues for they are too innocent.
