New Horizon Industrial Park risk to lose property worth millions of money after inferno consumes part of companies storage facility in Ruiru.
According to witnesses, rumors has that the fire started during maintenance.
"Tulikua tunafanya maintenance lakini tukanotice moto umeshika Mali." One of the staff who's name can't be disclosed narrated.
Police has called for assistance from county fire department. Although two fire engines arrived, but chances to save remaining property seems low.
Angry crowds started throwing words at security officer saying that he had refused to open the gate for them to loote. "Sasa hata mkitukazia kuingia tubebe Mali na Moto unakula Mali yote hiyo ni kutumia akili gani" one of them said.
Police has also had a very crucial time in controlling the crowd. People appeared in large number making it difficult for fire engine to pave way into compound
So far no injuries has been reported during the ongoing fire incident at New Horizons industrial park
