Slain KBC video editor Betty Barasa has been laid to rest at her Oloolua home in the Ngong area today in a private burial ceremony only attended by close family members and friends in line with the Covid 19 protocols.
Barasa was shot dead when gunmen raided her home last week for reasons that have not been established yet. The gunmen in a well-calculated move came in with her as she arrived home from work, walked her through to the first floor and gunned her down. They then allegedly took away the husbands ring and disappeared without hurting him.
The family has urged the police to speed up the probe into the killings and arrest the killers. The police are yet to arrest any suspects so far.
Those present have eulogized Betty as a person with a big heart who was there to help at all times. Emotions were high as her family members broke down in tears as the mass was ongoing.
May her soul Rest In Perfect peace.
