A beautiful lady from Tanzania, Fatuma Idi has caused an internet uproar after her story of how she is serving a lengthy jail term in one of the Kenyan prisons after she was found guilty of being involved in car robbery here in Kenya.
Narrating her story to Njata Tv journalists, Fatuma befriended a man from Kenya whom they ended up to be lovers. But she did not know that the man was already a car robber since he told her he is a truck driver.
After some time, her husband was arrested in connection to a car robbery. In the course of their investigations, the police came to her house for extensive searches. At her house, the police recovered several vehicle number plates which Fatuma or her husband could not explain how they acquired them.
This made her become another suspect and was therefore arrested alongside her Kenyan husband. Upon being arraigned, she was sentenced to a 10 years jail term which she is currently serving at Lang'ata Women's Prison.
