Linet Chepkorir (Toto) was today on Saturday 13th overwhelmed by emotions while giving her acceptance speech. She won the recent Bomet Women rep contest and it's now official that she will be the next area women representative at only 24 years.
While addressing Bomet residents, Linet Chepkorir cried uncontrollably, that two ladies had to support her throughout her speech. She requested Bomet residents to allow her to cry promising that she won't be crying in the future like she did today.
She thanked God for blessing her despite her humble background. She also thanked her parents who supported and believed in her. Toto dedicated her Women rep certificate to Bomet residents.
"Thank you ooh God for blessing me. Thank you God for the votes i got, it's just by your mercies. There is no day i got sick, I just thank God. Thank you my parents for holding my hands. All those times i arrived late in the night, you were there for me" Toto said.
"I thank you Bomet residents. This women rep certificate is not mine. It belongs to you" Linet added in her local dialect.
Linet was speaking at her Bomet home where they had gathered to celebrate her victory. She thanked all those who supported her throughout the campaign.
