The country is under siege with crime rates reported daily in various parts of the country more so Kerio Valley majorly cattle rustling from bandits and Nairobi.This has made the government through cooperation of National police service led by inspector general Koome to act swiftly to curb the situation.Koome has declare War against criminals and issued thirty days notice.On the other hand areas within Nairobi that are considered crime hotspots have also been Gazetted.Here are the areas.
1).Thika highway along the Drive-In flyover to KCA, KCA underpass and Total exit.
2).Globe Cinema and Kipande road are also listed.
3).ABC Place and Kangemi along Waiyaki Way and parts of CBD including River Road, Archives, Kirinyaga road and Fig Tree.
