
Grief engulfed Mjambere village in Kisauni after the murder of 7 suspected criminals within the last two days. The 7 include three brothers aged 15, 20 and 23.
One of them was allegedly chased by a mob who wanted to lynch him. When he got into the house, he was taken alongside his two brothers and burnt to death by the mob.
Their mother Janet Sidi revealed that one of them had just arrived home from his casual job at a construction site.
Another young man identified as Lucas Odhiambo was dragged from church and ordered to board a boda boda by a group of young men. They then beat him thoroughly then attempted burning him using a tyre but they were stopped by church members. Unfortunately, it was too late as he succumbed to the injuries.

6 suspects have so far been arrested in connection with the murders. Police have warned residents against taking the law into their hands.
