A local popular businessman and trader in Naivasha Stephen Kariuki is in deep mourning after he was attacked by gangsters, leading to the loss of a family member. The incident which happened at dawn caused panic and fear among the residents in the area after the thugs turned their wrath on his neighbors for trying to raise an alarm.
According to The Standard digital news platform, a 10 member gang turned their wrath on neighbors who were shouting distress calls during the robbery leading them to break into their houses and defile the female occupants. Eye witnesses say the gang broke into the houses using metal bars and assaulted Stephen's neighbors leading to three being injured in the deadly incident.
A security apparatus arrived at the businessman's compound and cordoned off the scene before taking taking crucial exhibits that will help in the investigations to apprehend the suspects. The injured were rushed to Naivasha Sub-county Hospital to receive emergency treatment.
