DCI Recover Consignment of Cocaine Worth Shs 100 M From a House in Utange Mombasa

Drug abuse is one of the emerging issues not only in Kenya but also across the world. That is why governments across the world have joined hands in order to fight against drug abuse. Therefore the DCI detectives have recovered consignment of Cocaine worth Shs 100 million from a house belonging to a 29 year old woman in Mombasa county.

Report indicates that the suspect has been detained at a police station in the coastal city as undercover agents hunt for her accomplices.

Importantly, the experts at the Chemistry and Toxicology units based at the DCI National Forensic Laboratory, are conducting more tests on the highly addictive drugs, that biggest recovery yet in as many months.

Therefore the DCI detectives are yet to establish whether the drug was carefully packed in 35 drug which was carefully packed in 35 sachets and concealed in suitcase was meant for local consumption or was on transit.
