A disturbing video of a gang of thieves stealing a phone from a traffic police has come viral on social media.
The video shows how crime has heightened and thieves are not even afraid to steal from the authorities in broad daylight.
The video shows an officer controlling traffic on one of the major roads in Nairobi.
Several bodaboda operators are seen to pass past him as he makes a call.
However, a motorcycle carrying three men passes past him and one of the guys snatches the officer's phone.
The officer is troubled but he cannot do anything to get back his phone.
He watches as the bodaboda disappears and he continues with his job with a heavy heart.
The video elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans who watched it.
They questioned if they are safe if an officer can be robbed in such a way.
