Yesterday, the country received the sad news of the untimely demise of Eldoret based prominent farmer Mzee Jackson Kiprotich Kibor. According to a post shared by citizen tv on Twitter, the family confirmed that he passed away on Wednesday at St Luke's hospital in Uasin Gishu County.
The family confirmed that Mzee has been using medical oxygen since October 2020 after he contracted covid-19. He will be remembered for his philanthropic gesture and his advice to men to be faithful to their wives. The veteran man had been branded the "Men conference chairman".
It is however worth noting that Mzee was a religious man who accept christ during his old age (at his 80's) and was babtized on 5th March 2021. According to video shared by Standard media, Mzee said two reasons why he accepted christ and Babtism.

He said that he had grown old and also at that age he needed to get ready to exit the planet Earth. "Ya Kwanza Nishakuwa Mzee na pia ni Lazima Uwe Tayari maana wakati wowote, hakuna mtu ajuaye wakati wake".
