A Bodaboda Man Arrested After Uploading His Photo On a Facebook Account Of a Murdered School Girl

A Bodaboda rider was arrested today 12th October in Kakamega county after he uploaded his photo on a murdered school girl's Facebook account.

Cynthia Makokha was murdered and his body dumped in River Lusumu. Her body was discovered yesterday Monday 11th October floating on the river after she went missing on 4th October.

According to her father, Cynthia who is 17 years old and a form four Student at Kibera High School in Nairobi was traveling to his rural home for the burial of his mother.

She boarded a motorbike at Shianda market at Kakamega county but after a long wait by the family she never reached at home.

John Odinga who is Emenyasa area and a local bodaboda rider mistakenly upload his photo on Cynthia's Facebook account using her phone. This made him the main suspect of the murder.

The parents reported the matter to the police who helped in tracing the suspect. He was arrested and locked in the police cell.

According to the area chief, Odinga will be taken to the court of law tommorow Wednesday 13th September after investigation is done.
