Police are currently investigating the murder of Victoria Muthoni Theuri, who was found dead at her boyfriend's place in Kahawa Wendani. The beautiful student from Kenyatta University left her parents' house in Kahawa Sukari on the 25th of December after she lied to them that she was going to her sister's place.
The circumstances surrounding the young girl's murder still remain a mystery, since on the 25th, her boyfriend claimed that she had left Victoria at his rented place since he was going to celebrate Christmas with his family.
The death of the young girl was only realized on Wednesday, when neighbors called the police to complain about a foul smell coming from the boyfriend's house. Upon gaining entrance into the house, the police found the lifeless body of the girl in the sitting room.
Her boyfriend, who was upcountry at the time of the discovery, had to be tracked by the police, who arrested him and placed him in police custody. Currently, he is suspect number one and he will help the police with the investigation. Victoria's body was being prepared for a post-mortem so as to help the police determine what happened to her.
