The woman, is a mother to young child but it is not yet clear what caused the man to snap and end her life. She was not living with him at the time of the murder.
The man is said to have gone into hiding after commiting the heinous offense but police are after him. Jilted lovers all over the country have resorted to killing each other over the most flimsy of reasons.
Couples are advised to seek counselling in times when things are not doing well. This helps in ensuring that relationships last or anyone jilted can walk away without harming the other.
This case brings into perspective the number of cases that have been reported since yesterday. A man killed his lover who was scheduled to go to Qatar soon. A woman has killed her husband in Kericho this morning.
The number of these cases is getting out of hand and the government needs to provide free counseling services.
