The victim by the Weldon Terer is said to have been stabbed by his lover after he reportedly used force to enter the room, where his lover had allegedly locked herself with another man.
Confirming the incident, Bomet County Police Commander said the husband to the wife found the two in a lodging at Kapkwen trading center on the outskirts of Bomet town and confronted them.

He, in the ensuing argument, the woman took out a knife and stabbed him severely on his chest, killing him on the spot.
The police reports indicate the deceased succumbed to injuries after bleeding profusely from the open wounds in the left shoulder and the chest inflicted by the knife.
Witnesses told the media that this incident attracted members of the public who rushed to the scene and gave the woman a thorough beating.
But officers attached at Ndanai Police Station intervened and rescued the woman from the mob, before she was rushed to Kapkatet sub-county referral hospital where she is recuperating under police watch.
