According to Kalonzo, his chopper developed technical problems and were forced to spend hours in Suswa before the hitch was corrected and proceeded with their journey to Homa Bay county to join Raila Odinga for Azimio la Umoja rallies across Nyanza region.
"Off to join my brother Raila Odinga and the Azimio-One Kenya team in Homabay County after a technicality that forced us to land in Suswa and delayed for some hours. The Buffalo is ready," stated Kalonzo hours after Sunday afternoon.
It was not immediately clear what caused the technicalities. Kalonzo was accompanied by a number of Wiper party leaders.
However, when he was leaving, a resident could be heard telling Kalonzo "achilia kitu kidogo ya chai ya hawa watu" but Kalonzo couldn't hear non of it as he boarded his chopper
He is expected to join Raila and other Azimio leaders in Homabay. Already, Raila has endorsed Homa Bay gubernatorial aspirant Gladys Wanga for the seat and will be squaring it out with former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero
