NPS Makes Progress in Hunting Down The 'Confirm' Gang Causing Mayhem in Nakuru

National Police Service has intensified their crackdown on the notorious 'Confirm' gang which has been causing trouble in Nakuru by terrorizing and killing residents through the acts of criminality to the innocent people.

The ongoing operation in the region by the Multi-agency security agencies had led to massive breakthrough after capturing some suspects who were later arraigned in the court of law. Other suspects are currently on the run and police are on hot persuit to bring them to book.

On a latest operation by National Police Service, they have recovered numerous crude weapons, mobile phones and motorcycles suspected to have been used by the gang in their numerous criminal escapades.

Today, the Rift Valley Regional Commander Maalim Mohamed accompanied by the regional Police commander Mr. Tom Odera and other senior security officials briefed the media on the progress they have made in dismantling the group.

Late last week, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations revealed that they had captured atleast 27 suspects in connection with the gang. They are believed to be behind the insecurity in Nakuru County and merciless killings of women. Different security agencies are looking forward to bring all of them to book and bring back peace.
