I/CDue to the ongoing thunderstorm strikes in the county of Nakuru, various parts have experienced a power outage from 1:50 pm. This areas include Whitehouse, Kiti, Kagoto, Mile Sita and parts of Lanet area. With the on and off power breakouts, residents are being cautioned to switch off their electronic appliances as well as main switches to avoid calamities sired by electric defaults.
According to reports by the weather department, various parts of the country are expected to experience rains with some being hails and thunderstorms for the next few days. However, with this being said, parts of the country are still experiencing dry weather and drought and the goverment through the president have been doing their best to see that relief food and medicineis versly in supply to avoid cases of death caused by hunger and related decreases.
Lights are expected to be back once the thunderstorms have come down and residents are being requested to bear with the situation.
