Murder

Man Kills Wife After Tracing Her In A "Chang'aa" Drinking Site, Ferries Her Home In A Wheelbarrow

Kevin Onyango, 34, had been gone all day on Saturday, and when he returned home, he could not locate his wife, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). He is said to have searched desperately for her until tracking her down to a Chang'aa lair in a secluded portion of Jera village in Ugenya.

"An furious Onyango descended on her with kicks and blows, further immobilizing her," the DCI stated, citing witnesses. The DCI alleged, based on witness testimony, that his 42-year-old wife Emmaculate Mayavi was so inebriated that he could hardly stand on her feet.

"He then took her home in a wheelbarrow," the cops stated, "where she is reported to have experienced problems and passed tragically during the night." Kevin was eventually apprehended and taken to the Sihay police station for booking. According to the DCI, he is scheduled to appear in court on Monday to face murder accusations.
