Commuters along Thika road witnessed a ghastly scene, when Nahashon got thrown out of a moving bus. The bus alledgedly belongs to Lopha Sacco Bus plying from Central Business District to Karen.
The victim, Nahashon, is alledgedly a conductor, and the series of events leading up to his abrupt eviction from a moving bus remain unconfirmed.
A lady from the crowd of curious onlookers volunteered to give first aid to the bleeding young man, who was then rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, Nahashon succumbed due to his injuries.
Irate Kenyans are demanding Minister for interior and National Coordination, Dr. Kithuri Kindiki and Cabinet Secretary Roads and Transport Kipchumba Murkomen to act dilligently and deliver justice for Nahashon. There have been calls to shutdown the sacco entirely until the culprit is brought to justice.
This is just another show of the irresponsibility of some matatus on Kenyan roads. It is hoped that this will spur immediate action regarding road safety, specifically on public transportation sector.
