New Details on Kirinyaga Bodaboda Rider Beheading as Killer Reveals He Wasn't Paid Promised 400K

A few days ago, Kenyans were shocked to learn of the death of a Bodaboda Rider from Kirinyaga County in one of the most bizarre killings to happen in the area in the recent past.

Picture courtesy. Police and locals search Rubingazi River for any signs of the head of Eric Muriithi who was killed few days ago.

The suspects believed to be behind the gruesome murder have been arrested and are being detained by the authorities as investigations in to the killing go on before they are arraigned in court again.

A third suspect is said to have been lynched by a mob after he was found stealing a motorbike in the area and ensured the wrath of the residents a few days ago.

According to reliable reports from Daily Nation Newspaper this morning, the killer of the Bodaboda Rider whose body was laid to rest without its head, took police to where he allegedly dumped the head.

Detectives and locals searched the Rubingazi River all afternoon yesterday but to no avail as the head was nowhere to be seen despite the killer saying it was dumped there.

The killer, has also revealed that they were promised 400,000 Kenya shillings if they would kill the young Bodaboda Rider.

He however clarified that the money was never received from the killers as per the reports that we have with us this morning.

The killer also said that 23 year old Eric Muriithi was killed because of a land dispute which his mother has denied.

Muriithi's mother says that her son did not own any land and that she had been living peacefully in her half acre piece of land since her husband died in 2015.
