CS Mutahi Kagwe in the past function
When Corona virus entered the Country last year March, the ministry of health came up with different protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. Most of the measures that were put in place affected the economy negatively. People were not able to do normal business activities beyond certain times that were set.
After several months, the rate of infection has dropped below 5 percent. This has made the ministry of health under Mutahi Kagwe to review some of the restrictions. President Kenyatta yesterday delivered good message to Kenyans after he suspended the dark to dawn curfew.
Bar and restaurant owners were among the people who celebrated the decision made by the President. However, Inspector General of police made an announcement that bars should close at 7PM. This announcement has been countered by CS Kagwe afyer he declared that bars and restaurants will operate up to 11PM.
"Bars and restaurants to close at 11PM"- CS Kagwe announced.
