Cases of bandits have recently gone on the rise as more people continue loosing lives. This happens as the cattle rearing communities experience forced regular attacks that has left many people dead. Yesterday, news emerged that innocent mother and child were brutally murdured by bandits who raised their home shooting them dead.
"Today I visited and condoled with the Amerinyang family following yesterday’s incident where Caroline (a window) and her two children were wickedly murdered by bandits. Sad to witness the tension and the pain of my people in Kerio Valley," Kipchumba Murkomen posted on Twitter.
It's high time the government has to intervene on a serious note to help in collecting guns owned by the affected communities. It's too unfortunate to see people loosing lives and the government is silent about it.
