Regret at Longisa trading centre in Kamagut of Uasin Ngishu county. Man has been detained for stabbing his best friend to death.
Going by the reports, the deceased's names are Peter Ekai, 30. While names of the detained man is Elphas Kipkoech, 26.
According to witnesses, "Ekai was accusing Elphas of plotting to have him fired at Chapchap security agency, where he worked as a guard."
Narrating the scenario; Elphas denied the accusations, which prompted to a war of words then physical war. During the war, the two started attacking each other with sharp objects.
There is when Elphas took a broken bottle and stabbed Ekai on the chest. After the incident, Ekai was taken to MOI Teaching and Referral Hospital, but he succumbed to injuries.
Currently; Elphas is at Eldoret police station waiting to be arraigned in Court. On the other side, the deceased as been moved to MOI morgue, awaiting autospy.
