A police officer in Nairobi has killed at least 6 people after he went on a shooting spree. It has been reported that to have shot and killed his wife, and when boda boda riders and concerned neighbours went to his house to find out what was happening when they heard gunshots, he turned on them and killed five of them, three neighbours and two riders.
After the quarrel went out of control, the cop killed him.
His neighbours and boda boda riders who operate from a stage close to his house rushed to the scene to find out what had just happened, only for them to be gunned down.
Two other people were shot and seriously wounded and are admitted to the Kenyatta National Hospital.
Shockingly, the officer later turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.
It is said he shot himself after officers surrounded his house with an aim of arresting him.

Dagorreti police boss Francis Wahome who has confirmed the incident said the couple stayed alone in the house.
“We do not know the motive of the incident but we have lost seven people including the officer who died by suicide,” said Wahome as reported by the Star.
