Cases of suicide, homicide and murder has remained a puzzle to many people in the country. It is difficult to explain why the gift of life has been taken for granted in the current times.
There are 11 unclaimed bodies in Garrisa hospital morgue of people retrieved from the river Tana.
This has led to the influx in the Garrisa county referral hospital morgue which has a capacity of holding only 12 bodies.
According to the hospital medical superintendent Dr Ambrose the bodies have been collected in the last three months and have signs of torture. Some were even retrieved with legs and hands tied.
According to the facility officials, if the bodies remain unclaimed for the next thirty days, they will arrange for their disposal.
Members of the public who lost their loved one have been urged to visit the facility for DNA analysis since it is hard to identify the bodies due to their condition.
