Ugandans woke up to heartbreaking news on December,Monday 19 following the passing away of a politician and his dear wife.
Serere County Member of Parliament,(MP) Patrick Okabe and his wife perished in a tragic road crash on a Monday morning.
The unfortunate event took place at Naboua town council along the Mbale Tirinyi road in Budaka District,Uganda.
According to the police, the couple was in a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 when the incident happened, as reported by Monitor.
Okabe died on the spot while his lover passed away as she was being rushed to the Mbale Regional Referral Hospital.
