The Directorate of Criminal Investigations revealed several names and photos of some women believed to be involved in criminal activities alongside the slain Mirema man Samuel Mugota.
One of the ladies released during the expose was identified as Cecily Wawira who was also alleged to be one of the masterminders behind the spiking of unsuspecting clients in bars and rob them.

According to reliable blogger Robert Alai, more details about Cecily Wawira have been revealed as she is alleged to be married to a DCI officer who lives in Mombasa.
The blogger revealed that Cecily used to own a club in Kayole which she shut, and got involved in the criminal activities.
"I am shocked about this “Basmati Babe” whose real name is Cecily Wawira and is married to a DCI officer named Chemosit based in Mombasa.
They used to have a pub in Kayole (mihango stage) called happy times not sure if it's still operational." Alai revealed.
