Kindiki Disagree With Report From DCI That Some Shakahola Victims Had Missing Organs

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has differed with DCI over the state of bodies exhumed from the Shakahola forest. DCI had indicated that some bodies had missing organs but Kindiki termed the report as rumours.

DCI detectives are seeking to link pastor Paul Mackenzie to human organ harvesting and trafficking . Fresh court documents show the victims may have had their organs harvested before they were buried in mass graves. Police are seeking to link the cult leader Paul Mackenzie believed to be a close ally of pastor Ezekiel to human organ harvesting and trafficking. Pastor Ezekiel was released from jail .

However, Kindiki denied that some victims had their organs harvested, terming it "politicisation of the probe into the massacre".

The CS insisted that people who have facts about the investigations are those on the ground, not in offices. “As of now, treat it as rumours. People who have facts are those on the ground, not those in offices,” said Kindiki. DCI detectives are seeking to link the self-styled preacher Mackenzie to human organ harvesting and trafficking. The CS assured Kenyans that more investigations will be conducted in Shakahola and justice brought to light and to the families affected .
