Uganda: Decomposing Body of a 63-Years Woman Reportedly Found in a Septic Tank 7 Months Later

A body of a 63 years woman has been reportedly found in a tank after she went missing 7 months ago in Uganda.

The unfortunate incident was revealed by the National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.

Taking to his Facebook account, Bobi Wine reported that the body of Immaculate Onebe, 63, was found dead in a septic tank in her home just seven months after going missing.

Bobi Wine's reports further indicated that the late Immaculate went missing at the time when kidnapping and abduction cases were on the rise in the country just immediately after the Jan 14th election.

"Gutted to learn of the death of Mrs. Immaculate Onebe, whose decomposing body has been discovered in a septic tank at their home more than 7 months after she went missing. On 6 January 2021, the 63-year old was waylaid and abducted by security personnel travelling in a Toyota Hiace 'Drone' who whisked her off to an unknown location. Frantic efforts by her family to trace her yielded no fruits, although security forces eventually admitted responsibility for her abduction," Bibi Wine posted.
