Deputy president Dr William Ruto expected to tour Bungoma County Thursday next week.
Deputy president Dr William Ruto is expected to be in Bungoma County on Thursday to lead mourners in the burial of Mama Priscila Lukhale. The late died at Moi Teachings and Referral Hospital in Eldoret after a short illness. The body is expected to leave the mortuary on Thursday morning and be buried the same day.
Deputy president will not only be attending the funeral as a politician but also because of his close attachment to the family especially the priest Rev Fr Pius.Ruto is said to have met with the priest at the time he was having cases to answer in Hague.
However,BBI politics is expected to be discussed since Bungoma seems divided on the matter. The County government of Bungoma has asked the family to carry out the ceremony in strict consideration of the Ministry's protocol of control the spread of covid 19.
Rev father Pius has been a vocal priest in the region and through his unique way of preaching the gospel,he has changed the hearts of many.
