The twins, both female, were joined from the chest down to the abdomen and were born through Cesarean Section (CS) which took more than one hour.
He added that the twins will be referred to an advanced health facility which is able to safely separate them since Lenmek Hospital is not capable.
Lilian Moraa who is the mother to the twins was referred to Lenmek Hospital from Ogembo level 4 hospital after developing complications following labour pains.
Doctor Monda said that such cases are rare and it was the first of the kind to be witnesses since the facility was established.
The mother said that she never expected that such an incident can happen and it was her lifetime surprise on her first delivery.
