Why The 'Last Soil' Was Not Thrown On Gakara's Coffin And That Of His Two Kids During Their Burial

After weeks of questions among the family members of Dr Gakara on why he took the life of his two children and attempted to take his own life, the family has finally laid the three to rest at their home in Mbaruk, Nakuru county. Dr Gakara's two children were found dead after being injected with insulin. Dr James was found unconscious next to their bodies and was rushed to hospital for treatment. He sadly passed on, on 22nd September.During their burial however, the 'last soil' that signifies that the dead have returned to where they came from was not thrown on the three coffins as it is custom in many burials. A family member stated that they had agreed that the graves which had been cemented by tiles would not be touched by any soil. The mother of the two children and the wife to the late doctor James Gakara eulogised him as a person who had the most beautiful soul. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
