Residents and a family in Bomariba village, Igonga sublocation, Kisii county, are currently overcome with grief. This comes after a 61-year-old man killed his son by hacking him to death last evening.
The local assistant chief claimed that one of the "Nyumba Kumi" in the affected region called him and informed him of the unfortunate event.
The assistant chief stated, "I received information that there is a dad who has killed his son by cutting his head off with a kitchen knife.
Blood was all throughout the room and there was a serious neck wound on the body.
Immediately after carrying out the heinous deed, the man ran away, however he has since turned himself in to the Igonga police station.
Igonga police officers responded to the spot and removed the body. The deceased's body has been transported to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital in anticipation of the postmortem.
This information was revealed after another guy in Nyamache, in the same county, hacked to death his two sons.
