Getting in touch with ones faith is something that is very important in the nourishment as well as growth of an individual in dealing with the much strain that comes with handling such a job in the country.
The Annual Thanksgiving Mass for Uniformed Officers from Western Region was held yesterday in Kakamega County.
Earlier on this afternoon, according to reliable reports from the Official Social Media Handle of the National Police Service, there has been a Thanksgiving Mass to honor officers that are serving in Nyanza Region.
The reports suggest that the officers met at the St. Theresa's Catholic Cathedral - Kibuye where hundreds congregated for the annual event in the county of Kisumu as per the reports.
Police officers who were drawn from the National Police Service comprising the KPS, the APS and the DCI were joined by those from the Kenya Prisons Service, Kenya Forest Service, the National Youth Service and the Kenya Wildlife Service in celebration of the Holy Mass and getting the much needed spiritual nourishment.
