We celebrate the winners of the inaugural Stanbic Nakuru City Marathon today.
The event was a success having 2,900 runners participating from all over the country and region including Uganda.
We held the event ahead of the award of city charter to Nakuru Municipality by the President on Wednesday.
We will continue to hold similar events to position Nakuru City as a place to live, work and play.
We thank those who partnered with us to make the event successful including title sponsor Stanbic Bank Kenya represented by CEO Charles Mugewa, and Nation Media Group through the CEO Steve Gitagama.
We thank Athletics Kenya through their President Lt. Gen (Rtd) Jack Tuwei for ensuring the race was professionally executed.
This will be an annual event to nurture talent among the youth.
