Reactions as African Fastest Man Omanyala Joins the Force

Africa’s fastest man in the men’s 100-meter race, Ferdinand Omanya, has joined the National Police Service. Omanyala, 25, will represent the police in future track events, locally.

Ferdinand Omanyala is deserving of this, and as a nation, we are pleased for him, as we can all agree. Omanyala and his wife posted about the wonderful news on their social media profiles to celebrate the good news.

Omanyala appeared prepared for the task at hand while dressed in KDF garb, and given how diligent and hardworking he has been, we know he will not fail this nation and will soon make us proud.

“I’m waiting on the police service to tell me which rank they’ll give me." "That should happen sometime next week, when the paperwork will be completed,” Omanyala said.

His wife thanked God for their progress on their Instagram page and congratulated her husband. The same news was then shared by Omanyala with his followers on Facebook and Instagram.

After breaking the 100-meter mark last year, Omanyala became the fastest man in Africa. We wish him luck in the task at hand because despite how determined he is, he has never failed to make Kenyans proud.
