In one of a village in Kirinyaga burned two suspected cattle thieves to death. The two are reported to had stolen the cows and slaughtered. The incident happened in Kathiriku village in Riagiceru location, Murinduko ward in Mwea.

It is reported that two were driving a Toyota probox vehicle which was found loaded with fresh cattle meat. This was a clear indicator that they must have been involved in the cattle stealing.
This provoked their anger and the next was to use all means to eliminate them. Residents claimed that the suspects had stolen four cows from the village, slaughtered and loaded them onto the vehicle.
“I raised alarm after learning that my two cows had been stolen, and the residents responded quickly,” said mama Regina Wanjiku.

This will actually sound a warning to those planning to it or have once done it and succeeded.
