Postmorterm Report Reveals That Eldoret Based Model Died Of Suffocation

In the developing story of the murder of the late fashion designer Edwin Kiprotich Chiloba, a postmortem report has revealed that the Eldoret-based model died of suffocation.

According to the government pathologist Johansen Oduor, the body of the 25-year-old university student had no physical injuries. Now the report reveals that pieces of cloth were stuffed into the deceased 's mouth and nose cutting off his air supply.

Johansen Oduor was at the Moi referral hospital to conduct a postmortem exercise on the body of the fashion designer model Edwin Chiloba whose body was discovered in a metal box last week on Wednesday in Uashin Gishu County.

"A piece of jeans trousers was blocking the mouth and the nose and there were socks stuffed into the mouth of about three pairs. The body was announced cyanosis meaning the person was not getting enough oxygen into the body when he died", says Oduor.

According to the report the body of the 25-year-old University student had no injuries same for the bruises on his mouth and nose. When the body was opened the brain was swollen due to lack of oxygen causing asphyxia.

Doctor Oduor was accompanied by Moi Teaching And Referral Hospital CEO Doctor Wilson Arwasa dismissing claims that Chiloba's eye was gouged out.

Government pathologists have taken more samples from his body to find out if his body was sodomized before he was killed. Four suspects in Chiloba's murder will remain in custody for 21 days as investigations continue.

According to the family spokesperson Gaudencia Tanui, Chiloba will be laid to rest Tuesday next week at Sirigoit village Keiyo North in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
