Kenyans had the following to say over the incident;
@George Wanaina ~ "This goons in uniform should be disbanded. Former IG Boinet would not tolerate this kind of nonsense. What's up with the police?".
@Wanyisya JD ~ " This people in uniform are too idle. The Government Should organize free and fair fire exchange game of different defence units".
@Timothy Afesi~ "But I think the Courts and the Legislature have let us down. The legislature must enact very harsh laws to deter violence and the Courts must ensure hefty fines and lock this criminals behind bars for life. When we do this people will fear".
@Victor~ "Wakenya wamechoka, law enforcers are behaving abnormally".
The Tana River incident comes at a time the Kenya Police have been hitting headlines over dissimilar accounts including sucide cases, murder cases, brutality among others which has tarnished it's reputation on public's eye.
It's just the other day a police officer went to hospital and shot his alleged lover 15times before turning the gun to himself.
What is your opinion over this matter and the Police in general?
