Days after a body of a student was found lying lifeless in Nakuru, a suspect has been detained. The suspect whose identity has been revealed as Ezra Kipkemei is currently under police custody.
According to a post by Nation media group on its social media platform, the suspect has been detained for 14 days. According to the police, this is to enable them finalise investigations before pressing murder charges.
The death of Phyllis Jeruto being murdered and body locked up at her boyfriend's house in Nakuru is still shocking. In addition, a similar tragic event was observed in Kahawa area in Nairobi County. This is after a body of a Kenyatta University female student was found inside her boyfriend's house. The man has since been arrested as investigations are currently on. However, the man made it clear that he left the girl alive and well in the house as he proceeded to his home for Christmas break.
