Dennis Itumbi, investigative journalist and former statehouse digital strategist, alleges that Police officers are planning to go on strike after their salaries were slashed.
According to him, most of the police officers are being paid less Money. The current cost of living is so high such that their salaries cannot sustain them.
Police are also considering to take legal action against interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi and Interior permanent secretary Karanja kibicho.
Police Officers play very crucial role in restoring Peace and in our country, therefore they deserve to be treated right. For a very long time, the government is overlooking the financial benefits of these men and women in uniform.
In the recent past, we have witnessed police officers committing suicide as a result of the bad working environment and poor pay. They are Always decried living in deplorable conditions.
