Accidents on the Kenyan highways have been on the rise in the recent past with the National Transport and Safety Authority urging drivers to always ensure that they are careful with whatever they do.
These accidents have been mostly blamed on careless driving and not adhering to the traffic rules that have been put in place to ensure that everyone gets home safe.
Today early morning, at Thika Flyover a deadly accident has happened on the busy Thika Superhighway involving a lorry and a salon car.
According to an eye witness at the scene, the accident occured at the Flyover just after Driver of the lorry hit the salon car head on collision.
No casualties have been reported although some minor injuries have witnessed at the scene of the accident and rushed to hospital.
The traffic police officers have responded on time and the mess has able to cleared on time despite it being the early morning.
