The Directorate of Criminal Investigations, DCI, detectives are investigating an alleged murder of a 15-year-old girl. The girl is said to have run away from home and when she came back, she was beaten to an inch of her life by the family.
The family is now in custody following the death of the girl who had failed to report back to school on May 10th. It is unclear why the girl had run away from home but upon returning, she got the beating of her life.
The girl was rushed by the father to Coptic Mission Hospital but the hospital says that she was pronounced dead on arrival. She had been beaten by the three using crude instruments at home.
Detectives went to their Kilimani home and found a pipe which they had used in beating her. Her brother is a student at Technical University of Kenya and the mother works at the ASK Showground as an official. Investigations have begun into the killing of the girl who is a student at Kite take Girls Secondary.
