Kimindet ward member of county assembly MCA honourable Kuya Ole Kijabe has lost one million Kenya shillings in unclear circumstances. According to the source, hon Kuya he had withdrawn one million from his KCB Bank account Narok Branch at around 1500hrs and packed the money in a bag together with his passport.
Together with his personal driver, they drove into Kirubis Hotel and his driver packed the vehicle in the hotel parking yard and the MCA want to attend to his visitors leaving the vehicle securely locked.
Another vehicle, registration number KCU 703X Nissan Note black in colour was driven by unknown number of people and parked opposite his vehicle which left in few minutes later.
When the MCA was through with his visitors, he went for the money in his vehicle, he found the money having been stolen. The MCA then reported the matter to Narok police station where the DCIO and his team visited the scene but no arrests or recovery was made.
The case was recorded ref on xx/01/12/2021 at 1830 hrs. The police officers have launched investigation of the said vehicle.
