Private Constable Benson Imbasi is said to have shot his wife with an AK-47 rifle and then went on a killing spree where five other people lost their lives including a Bodaboda Operator and three young men who were on their way from a funeral.
The incident which has shocked Kenyans has seen tens of residents of Kabete take to the streets to protest the killing of the innocent Kenyans by the officer.
Waiyaki Way has been closed but police are on the scene and doing all they can to ensure that the road is cleared from all the burning tyres on the road.
It's still unclear as to what prompted the police officer to kill his wife and five other innocent Kenyans who were on their errands at 3AM this morning on N Market in Kabete, Nairobi County.
